Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, the Galaxy S Advance is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor.
It also features Samsung Hubs and ChatON services to allow you to stay connected with friends.
ChatON is a cross platform communication service, which connects all phone users into a single community using phone numbers instead of usernames and passwords. It is designed to provide easy instant messaging, group chatting and sharing of content, Samsung said.
Users can also enjoy a variety of games with Game Hub, which offers access to thousands of catalogued games supplemented by gamer newsfeeds and news.
It also comes with Find My Mobile, a lost-phone management system that ensures secure phone data encryption in case of phone loss. Additionally it allows users to trace their lost phone directly via the Web or even delete the device’s data remotely.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is priced at RM1,299 and is available in early May at all Samsung retail outlets and authorised dealers.
